Fix Subscription Not Working

Steps to take if your subscription isn't being recognised or you're seeing a paywall after subscribing.

If you're seeing a paywall even though you've subscribed, or your subscription isn't being recognized, try these steps.

Step 1 — Restore your purchase

  1. On the paywall screen, look for a Restore Purchases option.

  2. Tap it. This re-links your Apple purchase to your Peggy account.

Step 2 — Check your Apple ID

Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that was used to purchase the subscription.

Step 3 — Check for a plan/family mismatch

If your family has more children than your current plan allows (e.g., 3 kids on a 2-kid plan), you'll see a blocking screen asking you to either remove a child or upgrade. This is expected behavior — not a bug.

Step 4 — Wait a few minutes

After a purchase, it can occasionally take a few minutes for the App Store to confirm the transaction and unlock your access.

If none of these work

Contact Peggy support at [email protected] and include your Apple ID email and a description of what you're seeing.

⚠️ Known issue (March 2026): An intermittent bug was flagged where the subscription step was blocking some users from proceeding during onboarding. The team is investigating.
