Connect Your Google Account

Learn how to securely connect your Google account so Peggy can read your school emails and sync your calendar.

Connecting Google is the most important step in setup — it's how Peggy reads your school emails and syncs events to your calendar. Peggy only reads emails from senders you explicitly approve, and can never send or delete anything on your behalf.

Steps

  1. During onboarding (or later in My Family > Your Profile), tap Connect Google.

  2. Review Peggy's security commitments on-screen:

    • Peggy is Google Verified and CASA Tier 2 compliant.

    • Peggy cannot send or delete emails or calendar events.

    • Only emails you authorize are ever analyzed.

  3. Tap Connect Google and sign in with your Google account.

  4. Approve the requested permissions.

  5. Peggy will scan your inbox for school-related senders. This can take a few minutes — you can safely close the app and Peggy will notify you when done.

  6. Review the list of detected senders. Accept or reject, then tap Continue.

⚠️ Currently, Peggy only supports Gmail/Google accounts. A waitlist option is available for iCloud and Outlook users, but a firm launch date for those integrations has not yet been confirmed.
